Charles Laverty is the fouder and CEO of EMS health technology provider Nuzuna Zone Fitness. Nuzuna is launching a US based network of fitness studios that combines traditional fitness with electro muscular stimulation (EMS) systems. EMS magnifies the impact of one's workout allowing an average users to get 2-3 hours workout in 20 minutes of effort. Charles Laverty is the former CEO of Advanced Bifurcation Systems. Laverty created this company to better the lives of people whom suffer from heart disease. In 1992, Charles was awarded the name Turnaround Entrepreneur of the Year for all United States Companies. He was Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Curaflex Health Services at the time.

Charles Laverty majored in Education from the Parsons College in Fairfield Iowa. Laverty served as Chairman, Presdient and CEO of Curaflex Health and in 1992 took this company public. In 1994, Charles initiated and facilitated the merger of five publicly traded companies into one named Coram Healthcare. Following the five way merger, Charles left and started a new venture by taking over Davstar Industries, a company with one product and no revenues, subsequently changing the name to Imagyn Medical Technologies. From 1988 until 1989, Charles was President and CEO of InfusionCare Inc. which is a home infusion care company owned by Avon Products. He was responsible for over 500 million in revenues with 300 locations. From 1981 through 1987, Laverty worked in various managent capacities for C.R. Bard. From 1969 through 1981, was President and COO of Dobuke Corporation, a multi-location food and beverage company.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Charlie for 25 years.He is one of the finest people, I know,always ready to give a helping hand to any friend or acquaintance. Charlie and I go back to 1985 when we worked together for what became Apria, the largest home medical equipment company in the US. In 1993, he acquired my home I.V. Therapy business with a company he turned around and then formed Coram, which is now a division of CVS. It is the US leader in this industry. Now in the role of CEO at Nuzuna, Charlie's energy is focused on the US personal fitness industry, which is a huge market with a big upside. Their core product utilizes EMS technology to greatly enhance the effectiveness of each workout. Under Charlie's leadership and based on his successful track record watch for Nuzuna to become a leader in this industry.
