Leah graduated with distinction from the University of Maryland, College Park - B.A., Psychology (2009), and the University of Maryland School of Law. While there, Leah served as Managing Editor of the University of Maryland Law School's Journal on Race, Religion, Gender and Class. Following graduation from UM Law, Leah Durant was hired by the United States Department of Justice. There she worked as a Trial Attorney where she filed pleadings, drafted legal briefs and argued cases on behalf of the federal government before several United States Courts of Appeal. Prior to that, Durant interned for two terms at the Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Ms. Durant’s education and professional background have provided her with insights into both the legal and the medical professions which have proven indispensable in assisting clients to resolve complicated vaccine claims.
Leah Durant has been admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia, the State of New Jersey, and the 2nd, 7th and 9th Circuit United States Courts of Appeal.
