Before he joined One Call Care Management, James Buscarini gained a wealth of business experience in the health care industry through several executive positions with a handful of notable companies.
Higher Education
Before he began building on his professional career, James first laid a firm foundation for success with a quality education. He attended Garland High School from 1985 to 1988, and then graduated and enrolled at Saint Leo University.
Here he primarily studied criminology, accounting, and management, eventually graduating in 1992 with his Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice and corrections. During this time, he was also a member of the Sigma Beta Fraternity. Since graduating, he has also completed independent coursework in law.
Previous Work Experience
Buscarini’s professional career really took off in January of 2000 when he became one of three founding members of three different companies—ZoneCare USA, Speedy, and selectMRI. James Buscarini also served as the executive vice president of business development for these companies, and with them he provided nationwide transportation, translation, and DME to the WC space. In their eight years of operation before all three were acquired by Medical Services Company (MSC), they managed to exceed $27 million in revenue through B2B, nationwide contract securing, and strategic customer absorption.
After all three companies were acquired by MSC in 2008, Buscarini became MSC’s executive vice president of business development as well as a shareholder. In this role, he was in charge of new business acquisition, pipeline innovation, organic growth, and strategic executive planning.
Then, in December of 2010, James left MSC to join the Osteoarthritis Centers of America and DBA OA Centers of America Florida as a principal. Here he developed strategic campaigns to target new markets and introduce OA Centers’ medical services, including osteoarthritis treatment in the hip, back, shoulder, and knee. He was also in charge of new business acquisitions, organic growth, the development of community alliances, and the arrangement of voluminous seminars to large senior living facilities. During his time here, Buscarini implemented a companywide business acquisition sales system and sales structure, including sales strategy and business plan development.
In 2012, James Buscarini left the Osteoarthritis Centers of America and DBA OA Centers of America Florida to found DENTALWORKS USA, LLC. This was an accredited dental procedures and services network and consulting firm that specialized in claims processing. He built DENTALWORKS USA on the pillars of honesty, integrity, and trust, and delivered pre-authorization support services to his clients by utilizing the innovative dental platform DENTRAX.
With this company, Buscarini was responsible for the leadership of daily operations, including project management, sales and marketing management, legal compliance, fiscal control, and board accountability of mission and policy planning. He also oversaw outside sales staff and business acquisitions, performed executive team functions, managed sales, and was in charge of budgeting and forecasting.
For almost 15 years, James Buscarini has worked to position himself at the pinnacle of the business arena with a resolve to persevere and stay ahead of the curve of industry developments and trends. Moving into the future, James plans to continue providing all of his current services as the national sales director with One Call Care Management. This means that he will continue to drive their Continuum of Care offering to both existing and prospective business partners all over the nation.
