Biography

Mitch Yellen is a successful investor, wealth advisor, restaurateur and philanthropist. Yellen is known for an nontraditional approach to building nontraditional returns. “I don’t preach what Wall Street does,” says Yellen, “I tell people to take an active role in their investment decisions and not rely upon 401ks and IRAs to make their decisions.”

Yellen’s businesses have added almost 250 jobs to Colorado Springs. His philanthropic interests include medical, healthcare and education communities by some of the area’s best fundraising events. Yellen has supported many organizations including Children’s Hospital, St. Francis Hospital, Memorial Hospital, Children’s Hope Chest and Colorado Springs Dental Society.

Yellen has gained a large and avid following among wealthy investors. Music legend Pat Boone and basketball great Rick Barry are both vocal supporters. Dr. Jim Yohanan, who has known Yellen for more than 10 years, said of Yellen “he picked the right people who showed energy and creativity.” Yohanan says. Mitchell Yellen has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table’s “Top of the Table”, group whose members are the top 1% of insurance advisors worldwide. Yellen has served in advisory capacity to some of the world’s top insurers including New York Life and The Guardian.

Mitch Yellen hopes to keep expanding his business ventures. He would love to take his kids on more of his missionary trips and get them involved in the community.
