Jason Dubin was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and and currently lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. Aside from his career in sports law and now private Equity Placements, Jason has started Aware Now Arizona, a locally based non profit. The goal of Aware Now Arizona is to raise awareness around the social media applications children are using and have access to, as well as educate parents on how to approach their children about sexuality in today's digitally infused age.
Jason Dubin joined Pinnacle Group International in 2012. A boutique Private Equity and Venture Capital placement firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jason Dubin spends most of his time with middle market private equity and venture capital firms based in NY and SF, but also has time to work with individual candidates and their search process for a new position on the buy side.
Jason Dubin also spends a majority of his free time setting up the infrastructure of Aware Now Arizona.
Jason Dubin attended and graduated from Arizona State University with his B.S. in Finance and Political Science cum laude. While at Arizona State, Jason Dubin interned at Smith Barney in their Wealth Management group working specifically with high net worth individuals in the sports and entertainment world. Jason Dubin then entered Chapman University School of Law in 2003 in orange, California where he could be close to the highest concentration of sports agencies in the United States. At Chapman, he focused his studies on Contract, Intellectual Property and M&A law. He was a founding member of the Sports & Entertainment Law Society and graduated cum laude in 2006. Within weeks of graduating law school Jason Dubin was helping negotiate a first round draft pick in the 2006 MLB Amateur draft.
Throughout his time working in the sports world, Jason Dubin spent the majority of his time working with families and amateur athletes in preparation for the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft as well as these athletes' introduction into professional baseball. Jason Dubin also spent time handling all aspects of Gaylord Sports' salary arbitration cases, effectively assisting the negotiation of numerous player contracts from 2007 through 2010.
Some of Jason Dubin's strengths has been evaluation of amateur baseball players in relation to their future draft status as well as market evaluation for MLB Amateur Draft.
