Unprofessional, unreliable, no-call/no-show on more than one occasion, did not consistently carry out the most basic of duties, overall poor work ethic. I witnessed little motivation to take the opportunities of working more hours despite only being allowed to work up to 25 hours per week when she was an Extra Help employee for Merced County. Extra Help employees duties include being available to work extra hours when Full Time employees call in sick. Many times she claimed to be unable to work more than 4 hours a night when Full Time employees called in sick which many times resulted in multiple coworkers having to work multiple hours of involuntary overtime. She failed to thoroughly complete simple duties assigned to her which the Lead Janitor was obligated to finish after she finished her 4 hour shift. She took credit for other people's work without having assisted in the duties completed which both the Lead Janitor and other Extra Help coworkers became privy to. When she did complete tasks she did so with the least amount of effort and did the least amount she could even when sharing the workload with other Extra Help employees. She also failed to complete her two-weeks notice this current week (07/30/18-08/03/18). Yesterday (08/01/18), despite being short-staffed due to a Full Time employee on medical leave and another Extra Help scheduled off, she failed to notify anyone that she would not be coming in. She refused to be professionally courteous, thus, 5 Full Time employees, including myself, had to work multiple hours of involuntary overtime because she was a no-call/no-show and will have to do the same tonight.
