After graduating with degrees in Political Science (B.A. & M.A.) and a minor in Economics Roman Jakubowycz spent a year working overseas in Eastern Europe. When he returned to the U.S., he began his business career by buying a small travel agency in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. It was this practical experience and the hard lessons learned that, to this day, form the foundation of his approach to business.
After earning an MBA form the Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business, Roman Jakubowycz accepted a offer from Eastman Kodak. He started working in the Digital Camera and Ink Jet Business Unit where he learned the unique approach Kodak used in new product development. Later joined the company's corporate financial planning and strategy group where participated in forecasting company's performance for the CFO, evaluated investment opportunities and worked on developing strategies for new technology or products.
He returned to Cleveland, Ohio when he accepted an offer from the Commercial Wheels Business Unit at ALCOA, Inc. There he developed an Aluminum hedging strategy for the Business Unit and participated several divestitures as well as acquisitions.
In 2007 Roman left the corporate world to pursue a variety of business ventures that culminated in becoming a partner at National Strategic Group; where he regularly leverages his business skills and corporate experiences.
Roman Jakubowycz has 18+ years of experience that span a wide range of industries and disciplines. This has given him a unique perspective and a broad knowledge base that he can rely on when working with a business on developing a strategy or effective marketing campaign.
