Dean Ruble graduated from West Virginia University in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. Soon after completing his program, he went on to focus on a medical career, and later enrolled at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Ruble acquired his Doctor of Osteopathy that institution in 1990. He then began his internship at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Chester, Pa. Following that, he held a three-year residency in internal medicine at the Penn State Lehigh Valley Campus in Allentown, Pa.
Dean Ruble has held many positions throughout his career. This allowed him to hone in on his skills and really focus on the success of his endeavors. He practiced internal medicine at Family Health Care Associates in Allentown, PA from June 1994 to 1996. Dr. Ruble also donned many hats as a board member, physician, and partner at Integrated Medical Associates/ Partners in Greenville, MI from July 1996 to March 2001. Similar to this, he was the director, physician, and partner at Knapp’s Corner Medical Associates in Grand Rapids Michigan from October 2000 to September 2003. He then became a medical clinical director of Project Rehab at John N. Campbell, MD, PC in Kentwood, MI from August 2006 to April of 2008. Also in Michigan, from September 1998 to April 2003, he was a medical pain management specialist through Michigan Pain Consultants at the Veterans’ facility in Grand Rapids, MI. In 2008 through 2010, he moved on to Physician director at his own location, Dean A. Ruble, DO, PLC in Greenville, MI, where he currently worked until accepting his current position at Midwest Medical Point of Care in Warren, MI.

He has acted as chief of staff, chief of internal medicine, medical director, board member, and director at these organizations, which allowed him to learn the ins and outs of the medical industry. In all of these capacities, he learned something different. He learned many things from his contacts in these fields. In turn, he was able to teach others about how to lead a healthy lifestyle.
In addition to his many positions on the medicinal and patient side of medicine, Dr. Ruble also is interested in the legal side of medicine. When he is not working, Dr. Ruble is an active member of his church. He is part of the local recovery community and has volunteered his spare time to the Boy Scouts of America. He has used his community involvement to better the lives of those around him.
Dr. Ruble is also dedicated to physical fitness and taking care of his body. His medical knowledge gives him particular insight into proper fitness techniques. Dr. Ruble frequently participates in cycling and aerobics to aid in taking care of his body. Skiing is one of his favorite hobbies, and he uses it as a form of exercise as well as recreation. He frequents the Poconos, Stowe, and Vail to ski during the winter season.
Dr. Ruble is also passionate about aviation and the freedom that comes along with flying a plane. As a pilot, he enjoys the freedom of being able to go anywhere at any time and it allows him to see the world at a moment’s notice.
Dr. Ruble has many interests, but his main interest will always be his patients. He is dedicated to their wellbeing and providing them with quality care. His knowledge, and the fact that he is always learning, is something to take notice of. Dean Ruble is continuing to help patients with their struggles with drug and alcohol addiction. He remains a Doctor of Osteopathy currently practicing in the field of internal medicine. In continuing his career, Dr. Ruble will continue to explore addiction while gaining certification in addiction medicine. He plans treat patients who struggle with alcohol and drug abuse as well as co-occurring psychological disorders. Some of the disorders he plans on dealing with include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
