Worst Job Experience of my Life but the Best Life Lesson My employment lasted 27 days... they claim they 'over hired' at the time and had to let several people go in less than a month. I came in early, worked late and was still told to push harder. I engaged with management and helped with extra projects on the side... then I was told there wasn't room for me at the company any longer- I was told there 'was no other reason.' Afterward I was let go, I found out the design project I had single-handedly created the month I was there was used for a big client. The management was the single worst I have ever seen in the industry, not only manipulating their employees, but also being straight-out unprofessional and cruel. I wouldn't wish this company on my worst enemy... I may sound bitter for getting let go (for the only time in my 15 year career), but it was the best lesson I could have had. I'm thankful it wasn't longer than 27 days. Of the 12 or so hired when I was, in less than two years, ALL had been let go or let on their own accord.
