Unbelievable Supervision is not only crying, yelling, or on the verge of a nervous breakdown but happy to share all of these emotions with you. Most of your instructions are wrong and you will waste days if not weeks building a part only to restart because of this. Engineers are not willing to fix errors, leaving you stranded. Parts policies make you have to order things one by one so if the smallest part breaks or is defective it can take weeks to receive a new one. There is serious pack mentality and you will find groups messing with your personal belongings, or waiting by your car in parking lot just yo intimidate you. There are known alcoholics who work day in and day out hammered on the job. The management over the engineering department is pretentious and wont listen to you. The quality department kicks out good parts, so you are stuck with a non compliant part report for nothing on your end. You have cloth chairs and bed bugs often are found here, so you have to spray chair with alcohol to lessen your chance of getting them. The time clock is a finger reader that doesn't work well so with less than 50 employees you may take ten to fifteen minutes clocking out. You wear a heavy smock that is miserable in the summer. The bathrooms and breakroom are dirty and you will find a broken fridge, no toilet paper in stalls and dirty tables on any given day. The shipping department goes off on floor workers for putting order in for parts. The product management is a nervous wreck and acts like its the end of the world when you ask a question. There is a lead who smells heavily of marijuana and barks out order at people. If you are not part of the union they make sure you know that they dont have your back and will harass you about it on a weekly basis. The health insurance is so expensive that if you have a family you would be working just for gas and insurance. The parking lot layout is a recipe for disaster. The h. R lady does not give you paperwork on time and expects it instantly because she was late. The employee questions and complaints box is skimmed through and in all hands meeting they address only things that they like. There is not much fresh air on building so when people get sick it just circulates into building through a/c heater. The products you use are labeled as cancerous and are not taken as serious as they should be. Don't worry about training because you will get none.
