Toxic Poisonous Community Too many to include........but let's start with favortism amongst the "inner circle of people" The administration needs a thorough house cleaning. The head of school is out of touch with many of the faculty and is basically inaffective. There seems to be a constant flow of back stabbing going on amongst the administration, faculty and staff. Part-time faculty are taken advantage of, marginalized and discounted. HR is a joke, they are not there for the employee, but rather to protect the school's interest. Not too many trust them or feel comfortable going to them. Too much micro managing in every department, more layer upon layer of policies each year, and a lot of people pretending to be happy when in fact they are not. Hotchkiss has become a place of "show" and it's all about the power of money.
