Should be better, but ruined by management Sales management beyond their depth. More interested in boosting their personal profiles than in effective sales management. Not leaders by any means, and do not inspire. Hourly sales updates sent to all employees by e-mail very negative and berating. Effectively telling salespeople they are poor when numbers not where they want. Most quality employees have either left or been let go over the last two years leaving mediocre or new people. Very little cooperation between departments so there is no feeling of a team atmosphere. Departments do not help each other, so everyone is pulling in their own direction instead of working together. Several recent corporate decisions have driven long time dealers/customers to buy from local competition. There is no mission statement or philosophy that guides the company. The mentality is "how much can you sell today?". It has become a very toxic work work environment.
