Immature behavior by CEO included public, humiliating dressing downs in front of peers. Not limited to management or long-time employees, either. A loud talker, yes, but quick to yell and accuse first and listen later. She allows departments to fight between themselves because no one wanted her anger. So there is a lot of blame game. COO was nice, but had no authority. Everything he or controller wanted to or needed to do had to be cleared by her. if you disagree with her, she won?t like you. She likes to be surrounded by people that just agree with her. They stay the longest because agreeing with her makes you a favorite and you can coast.
