If you are looking for a stable company...this isn't it. This was the most toxic company I have every worked for. Do NOT live in their "intern house" unless you are looking for a company to control your every moment, life and health. Everything going on is a massive lie. They lost a lot of money buy Arby's franchises, a hotel and a baseball team then didn't have the credit to buy natural gas. Supposedly energy companies can make money in the Arby's business? If you ever interview, ask these questions "how much did Shipley grow this past year? and how long exactly will this job last?" If they say "this is a small company so you will be able to learn about the different departments, ask "why would I have this time in my job to learn these other departments?" Some people were really great...and truthfully they should be working elsewhere for a lot more money. Other people were horrible and just put a fake smile on their faces to hide that the business is not doing well. People who do work here get very scared for their jobs (rightly so) and they become toxic to work with bc of the constant threat of unemployment. The benefits are absolute crap. Get a job elsewhere...or ask extremely detailed interview questions so you get an idea of exactly what you are dealing with. I was so happy to leave it wasn't even funny.
