I wish no stars was an option. SGI-DNA is the absolute worst environment I have ever been in considering work, Absolutely TOXIC. Degradation of employees, inappropriate work behavior by their "Senior Leadership Team" aka the CEO and all of the sideways people he brought with him from his last biotech "flips.", then they designated the HR person as someone within the leadership team. If you're considering SGI-DNA, you should seriously find ANY other option because the job market is actually good right now. Experiments lack controls and appropriate design, there is very little communication between teams, and redundancy of results is nonexistent. New management came in thinking that they could turn everything around and then got hell bent sour on all current employees when they realized there was nothing good happening here. Now they're just hoping they can use their connections to get a little bit of a flip out of this without losing all of their money or employees first. Gave raises recently and then changed their health care plan to outrageous levels (800+ for employee +spouse) Can't make this place up. THAAAAANK YOU , THAAAAANK YOU, THAAAAAAAANK YOUUUUU........
