Hugely Disappointing I was hired to do some contract work, with the impression that it would lead to a full-time or part-time job. They would assign me various projects. The manager would often tell me to take my time, that there was no hard deadline - and then get angry if I didn't have it done the very next day. We'd schedule conference calls, and I'd be the only one to show up. I'd email my point of contact repeatedly for feedback and next steps, and she wouldn't even bother to respond. The communication within this company is absolutely abysmal. Quite frankly, I feel like I was consistently lied to. I had incredibly high hopes, and my experience with this company turned out to be hugely disappointing.
