Can explain it in one word........NEPOTISM!!!!! While there are hard workers there, there are also employees that get spoon fed without earning a single thing! This company is ran by basically one family and I'll let you guess the name of that family, just fill in the blank______. In their own manual, it states that relatives shall not be permitted to work in the same dept but I guess they don't follow their own manual because there were many family members in the same department. This wouldn't be a huge problem if there was a sense of professionalism, but there is none at all. Not only do they get obvious special treatment ( given any show they want, made permanent over people that have been there for 1+ yrs.) but they gossip about others which makes it such a toxic environment. You basically have to walk on eggshells to make sure you don't accidentlly say or do something they don't like or they will run to their family member that is higher up (Cam Director). It's just a shame because it is such a great field to work in, it's a field that I fell in love with and a field that I was really good at. But, this experience just left a horrible taste in my mouth about the whole thing.
