Bound to fail, can't retail talent, poor management Stop asking if you can get a discount or first dibs on paying for high-demand tickets...you won't. This isn't Ticketmaster. Sales and account managers commit to deadlines and sign contracts without ever consulting the people doing the actual work and when projects fail, no one is to blame except engineering, product and project...never leadership decisions that got us to the point of failure. The entire team can tell leadership that dates are unrealistic, that it won't be met and you will have higher ups override the people doing the ACTUAL work that it can be done. Working overtime to get the job done is a reflection of poor planning and while they spend all their time going through the most inefficient process they call "greenlight", it eats into the teams' ability to build. All the good people have left and the morale is very, very low. Management does not listen to employees or respect what they say, and then expect them to take the blame. Culture is a fraud because leadership does not follow it.
