A Company Falling Apart Like a lot of the other reviews say, the owner of the company, Risa Goldman Luksa, micromanages everything. There is very little, if any, creative input or the ability to go against the will of Risa. This leads to over-promising things to clients, and projects quickly become over-budget or late because of her. She has no understanding of the word 'compromise' or even 'manners.' More recently, Risa has run the company in an even more totalitarianism fashion. The company is now essentially is a spoiled rich person's plaything. Some even speculate that the company is just a criminal front where Risa funnels the exorbitant amount of money she charges the clients into her own personal accounts. There is no transparency with the finances of the company (why is it that no one except for Risa knows the exact pricing for what she's selling to clients?). There have been multiple lawsuits that were charged against the company, and if the government knew about all the HIPAA violations or misclassification of employees that GMG was committing, the company would be shut down. Over the last couple years, and even before that, there have been multiple 'exoduses" of employees tired of dealing with the Risa's attitude and broken promises. When this occurs, her logic is just to give the responsibilities/duties of whoever left to someone else without so much as an adequate pay raise or title bump. She will not rehire more employees to fill the gaping hole of missing work hours because she is too cheap to do it. This results in a larger workload for the rest of the company, and an irate owner/boss who simply does not understand that there are not enough resources to accomplish all the projects in the pipeline. Lastly, there are hardly any benefits left in the company. The 401k account is a joke with no employer matching contributions, the health insurance is truly bottom of the barrel when it comes to actual coverage, the amount of vacation/sick time that is given to employees is probably the lowest in the industry. and the company does not pay wages at the market rate for its overworked employees. The benefits from GMG only come after leaving. Essentially you get hush money for signing a borderline illegal exit contract that forces people that leave to keep their mouths shut for all the illegal and irresponsible practices that the owner commits on a daily basis.
