Incompetent management Edlio is the most poorly managed company I have ever experienced. The former office manager was promoted to COO and her lack of experience and ability to run a company has contributed to the demise of Edlio. In addition to this, the CEO seems to promote the least qualified people to management then is completely oblivious to the damage they cause with their poor leadership. There have been multiple rounds of layoffs, creating an environment of fear, where everybody is worried they may be next and some people try to throw others under the bus in attempts to save their own jobs. Communication is poor, at best. At my time there, my direct manager disappeared for weeks without my team being notified about where he was or what happened. Many concerns were addressed to management and HR about unfair policies and procedures in the sales department (I.e. unfair lead distribution) just to be ignored over and over again. Eventually, they implemented a joke of a round-robbin system that was manually controlled by a manger that refused to be transparent about the distribution of the leads. As others have said, favoritism and nepotism are a serious problem here. If you want to be promoted or rewarded based off of things like performance, merit and genuine qualifications, this is not the place for you. I do not believe this company can continue to operate much longer with the current management that?s in place.
