Cannot recommend The company has some serious organization and communication issues. No one is ever informed or talks about important company-related issues, a lot of people do not reply to emails or attend meetings unless it's beneficial to them. These are habits that are passed down from the top (the CEO). The company, and in particular the CEO could not care less about any the employees. There's no culture, no compensation reviews, no proper training or funds for professional development (even though they advertise that in job listings). They will promote you and give you more responsibilities, but it doesn't ever come with a pay raise and sometimes not even with a new title. Leadership is weak (especially HR), but you can't really blame them, because all of the company's issues are ultimately because of how terrible the CEO is and the decisions he makes, including who he hires. He does not take any feedback from anyone and completely disregards anyone's opinion that he doesn't agree with. He does not care about employees OR customers- the only thing he cares about is appearance. Outwardly he discusses the need for companies to disclose their stats on diversity, pay, etc but if Aspiration disclosed this information, it would not look great. I cannot recommend working here unless you just need a paycheck for some time, while you figure out something else.
