PER-1 Very poor management at the Gurgaon office. They make no effort to groom talent. It's run like a sweatshop. 4/5 projects at any time will be of a very poor quality- dashboards, some nonsense BI tool sold to a client inter alia. Much to be desired in terms of quality of work. Will strongly recommending getting a honest and detailed picture of this place before joining. While PERs aren't fired, a lot of people from other groups are and it's done in a very insensitive way- couple of office staff will walk around the whole floor and literally ask some people to get up and leave- the other employees at this point are hoping they won't get picked on. The management doesn't have the basic sense to not do it in this humiliating way. That's what Essex is all about. Pathetic management and they can get away with it. No oversight from senior management since it sucks as much.
