Grant money for Head Start does not go back into buying supplies for teachers to be able to do their jobs. Constantly increasing demands with no compensation. No raises only an occasional COLA. Most workers are in as much of a financial crisis as the population we serve. Finance office keeps two sets of books--the books they show the feds and then the books of what is really happening to the money. Workers are made to falsify documents and sign their name to their work. If anyone speaks up against the harsh and hostile environment in which they are placed to work, they are almost guaranteed to be laid off or transferred to a less favorable location or position. Some of the most crooked people I have EVER encountered in my life! Driven by lies, discriminatory acts, sexism, racism, ageism, dishonesty & illegal practices.
