Professional on the outside, ghetto on the inside Where do I begin? The pay is really low and the raises are rare. Working in IT they gave me a raise of $1 per hour each year. Seriously? It's like I'm making less money than a mexican. I can't begin to describe the day to day insanity of this so called office. It looks professional on the outsite but that is just a mask. The inside is ghetto as hell. The warehouse people talk like they're on the streets, talking slang, profanities and doing gang signs. The sales people are racist and also talk slang. There are rumors that one of them has "done time" if you know what I mean. Judging by his behavior I believe it. He threatened to beat me up once. WTF? Management will hire any body without a proper background check. They just pull any scum off the streets that has a resume. Work environment was constantly hostile, toxic and racist. This is what happens when you have Italians in charge. They keep hiring wanna be mafia guidos because they think they'll be good at sales. My advice: stay away from this place if you're a minority. Better yet, even if you're not a minority, stay away if you want to keep your sanity.
