Not for Accountants Accounting is the company's whipping boy. other departments run rampant breaking protocols and then accounting is supposed to be the company watchdog so if you work in accounting, be ready to be hated, chewed out and bullied. poor environment for women, though it was more integrated on jobsite than in main office. little to no growth in accounting for years while operations is fast-tracked and carries half the workload. Worked 5-6 long days weekly for years. Regular workday was 8-8. Mid-level staff wiped out so all entry and senior which makes things lopsided and top-heavy. Staff constantly lost, replaced and rotated which results in messy projects and ineffective management. Regressive culture if you aren't a conservative white man though talk a good game.
