Lots of Hot Air The owner/creative director would claim to be creative and inclusive of ideas, but the reality was he only wanted to execute his ideas and used the team as puppets. At times he would demean and criticize any suggestion that didn't align with his. I was contracted with the intent that it would lead to full time employment. When I inquired multiple times about the status of that happening, I was pacified and lied to until a replacement could be secured. Also, salaried employees were expected to clock in and out and when the full 40 hours weren't filled in a week then they docked your pay, but when you had overtime there wasn't any compensation for the time sacrificed. The excuse they gave was that they didn't want to upset the hourly employees that they had to clock in while the salary employees didn't.
