Lots of down time/ Poor training, Salary & Benefits Salary is much lower than industry standard -Benefits are poor (health insurance only covers yourself, not your family) -Training is awful...Instead of learning on the job, you sit there all day doing nothing, and then you have a "training class" with one of the partners after work, where you go over the basics of auditing. -There's a lot more traveling involved than they tell you during the interview -One of the partners is really rude and talks down to everyone (basically unapproachable) and doesn't like being asked questions, which is peculiar because it's an entry level role. -Management hasn't embraced technology....all of the work paper documentation and evidence is in paper format. So, if you're ever in the office, most likely, you'll either be doing nothing or making binders. -Tons of turnover....Almost all of the staff accountants have been there around a year or less
