Like watching the Titanic hit the iceberg Toxic environment Cliques - Everyone is always talking about "old Mother vs new Mother". No one runs this place or manages it. They have been lucky to have dedicated employees who love what they do and want to do a good job. Favoritism is rampant and almost encouraged, the same people get rewarded over and over again. If you're behavior is deplorable and abusive, there are no consequences. In fact, you might just get a raise and a promotion, just so that leadership does not have to deal with anything unpleasant. Leadership doesn't want to lead, they want to be the cool kids. So, they will ignore a problem until it goes away. They have lost more then 30 employees since May, and no one is asking why. And many had been there anywhere from 2-10 years. Leadership has said to their departments that it's good if people want to leave, "if they don't want to work here, they should go". When you are that blind to the inner turmoil that is going on, then count on people jumping ship. The company is doing well, picking up new business (FINALLY), but the internal instability will eventually affect business. Landing new business with freelancers is not a good projection for the future.
