Lack of work/life balance, very low salary, and mistreatment by managers There is no regard for having a life outside of the office. They will tell you that the hours are 10AM-6:30PM but that is never the case unless you are one of the higher ups. You will work 9:30AM-9, 10, 11PM. You WILL work on the weekends with no help from those managers who ask you last minute to throw away your plans. Family doesn't matter to management at all. Once you're hired, they expect your whole life to revolve around the Farm. The amount of backstabbing and giant egos is stifling. It's no wonder they aren't a big ad agency-it's impossible to be creative in an environment where you're going to be ridiculed and yelled at. The pay is nowhere near what other agencies pay. Also, they'll tell you that you don't get any benefits or vacation time for the first 3 months because you're a temp. However, that seems to stretch on for a lot longer than 3 months for most employees I've seen. Again, they have no idea how to treat their employees. Who wants to work in those terrible conditions with little pay, no paid vacation, no benefits, and no 401K? Please heed my advice and stay far away. You will be miserable and the agency is such a joke. I look back now and laugh and thank my current company for hiring me and allowing me to be treated with respect.
