Interesting work, terrible office environment Your experience at KRC is entirely dependent on who your manager is and who is managing your projects. Some managers are dreadful and work you to death, some are more caring and acknowledge that you'll want to have a life outside work. Overall, staff that leave before 6:15pm are given the "side-eye" for not working enough. Long, crazy hours are praised. Because it is such a small company, junior staff are given the work of senior staff, which is great for getting exposure to new things, but also means you're doing work well above your pay grade. It is almost impossible to work less than 55 hours a week - probably 5% of the staff actually takes a lunch break, and those who do are judged by coworkers. The office politics are really exhausting, and unless you constantly advocate for yourself, you'll get stepped on, forgotten about, or abused 9 out of every 10 times.
