Driver Independent Contractor I don't recommend this job. You have to use our own car and you will put a lot of wear and tear on your car, you will have a lot of gas expenses, tax liabilities (you are an independent contractor) and you will also put a lot of miles on your car. They do not reimburse you for gas that comes out of your own pocket. The worse part is they take out around $50 from your check for every pay period. This is ridiculous. Supposedly this money is for a "check processing fee." This is unfair. The driver should not have to pay for the boss to cut him a check. Beware of their false advertisement, they say you can make $80 to $160 a day. This is not true. You will be lucky if you make $60 a day with them. Many days I only made $40 and on the best days I would make $80 but again after gas expenses, tax liabilities, you are making less than that. They also have favoritism, some of their drivers get the good jobs while other drivers get the far away jobs that put a lot of miles on your car and you spend a lot on gas.
