Don't join when you are an experienced professional Biased and ineffective management It helps to be young, female and British. If you are not, the chances of having a career are slim. Management rules like the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland: It is "off with your head" if you displease them. One day you are in, and the next day you are out. You are under the constant scrutiny of their perception of your performance. As a result, attrition is high. It is a revolving door of new hires and mysteriously disappearing employees. Processes are therefor unstable, there is no continuity. Time is wasted by frequent onboarding of employees and frequent miscommunication between departments. MindGym doesn't practice what it preaches There is a significant gap between what they recommend to clients and their internal processes. E.G - the trend to move to informal feedback cultures and no ratings, yet MindGym has a traditional performance management process with a brutal end of the year review with ratings. One bad word or bad experience with one of the founders will get you a bad review over the entire year. E.G - MindGym's point of view on Diversity and Inclusion speaks about inclusive culture, a psychologically safe environment and embracing different perspectives. Yet, favoritism and bias run rampant and the environment is unsafe. There is a pervasive invisible communications circuit where people review and opine about other people's performance and notify interactions to upper management without directly communicating to the person involved. Some are pardoned for mistakes, and others are not.
