Don't contract for them, do not value your time. Also won't pay if not satisfactory. They don't understand that as a freelancer, you may have other clients already booked. Joba expects you to get their product done even when you have dates booked with other people. They also, don't understand that when you are booked for a project for a day, it doesn't matter if you get it done in a day or half a day, you are only booked for one client during the day and thus the rate must stay as a single day rate, not hourly. What if any revisions spontaneously come in after you already moved onto working on another client project (as Joba thinks freelancers should do,) you have to cut the time from that other client to finish the revisions for Joba. This is why one job per day and one rate for the day is necessary in the creative field. Management / Owner used the term Sweetie and talked down to me while we were on a call, "Sweetie, I know this animation won't take 8 hours", and when I told her I had a registered company, she asked if It was truly registered as if she was skeptical. They expect straight out of school grunts that don't know their worth. Also seems like I won't be getting paid, because according to them, since they did not receive a satisfactory product, I don't get paid. I received incorrectly spelled plates to animate, they asked for revisions when I had other client days already booked, and after forfeiting the files over, they still expect me to make changes. What's the point of forfeiting the files, if you don't have anyone there to do revisions? Also the owner hung up on me like a salty teenager.
