Believe The Negative Reviews I have been waiting to write this since month three on the job. I am SO beyond relieved to be done with this miserable place. Honestly, it was such a horrible job experience and the worst company I have ever worked for. Being an employee at Influenster is mentally draining. You will be exhausted every single day, which will leave you with little to no motivation to pursue your passions in your free time. Don?t get me wrong? the work is not difficult. I barely used any creative or strategic thinking while I was here. Anyone with half a brain can do what I do. It?s just a lot. It?s overwhelming. It?s stressful. It?s boring. You?ll get insane demands and unrealistic deadlines. Simply put, expect to be overworked, underpaid, and undervalued. If you?re not on the sales team, good luck. Nobody cares about you unless you bring in the dollars (and it helps if you have a pretty face, too). Why? Because Influenster is run by a married couple whose entire life is funded by this company?s profit. Sales support their needs and their needs only. This brings me to my next grievance: upper management. They are nasty, condescending, and rude. They do not respect you as an adult. They hold meetings where they reprimand you for taking days off or threaten you for working in the communal workspace instead of sitting at your desk all day. Besides the sales team, Influenster has extremely high turnover. You probably won?t last more than a year here. If the toxic environment isn?t enough to get you out the door, the workload will be. You will get burnt out. Please, please, please DO NOT WORK HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! Read all of the negative reviews and believe them. The free snacks, happy hours, unlimited PTO, and dog-friendly office are not enough to make this horrendous company worth it.
