Bad choice for engineers I think Loverly had a lot of potential but not enough leadership to steer the ship. The founder was non-technical. A huge obstacle that led to poor technical decision making (two parallel stacks, ugh) and frustrating product mandates. She directly managed the product while attempting to also keep the business a float. Things were very disorganized. No waterfall or agile planning. There was no product team or large company vision. The main focus of the company changed every 3 months. Days were constantly frustrating.
