Economic/Finance Analyst Intern It was my 3rd internship in college, but also the one I learnt the least. For the first several weeks, I spent most of time checking whether the analysis website is working and the various functionalities. This helped me to be familiar with their analysis website for the first week, but then it became really boring to check it over and over again. Only towards the last half of internship, I was assigned to help with writing company's monthly newsletter which involved many googling online on economic events and consequences. I preferred this task than the previous one. During the interview, I was told that the company was in collaboration with Singapore Government Investment Corp (GIC), so I was quite thrilled. However, I didn't see any collaboration was or had been done for GIC, there were just some presentation done for them. Overall, I think it is only suitable for junior economic students who didn't find internships elsewhere and desperately want to add some experience to the resume. Otherwise, I would recommend funds or banks over HedgeSPA.
