WARNING: Read the Red Flags It?s easy to read Glassdoor reviews and make your own assumptions about why someone felt compelled to leave those disparaging words?they must be a disgruntled employee, they must be bitter, they must have gotten fired. I want to implore the reader of this post to strongly think twice before interviewing or, worse, accepting a position at Sunday Riley. The company itself has some things going for it: it?s a cool industry, there are some great people who work there with actual talent, and, sure, you get some free skincare. That is entirely where the perks end. All of those ?great people? are miserable and desperately looking for any other opportunity. Everyone there regrets the day they ever stepped through the sleek-looking office doors and descended into what can only be described as a true Hades on Earth. The eponymous ?leader? rules her company with an iron fist, chaotic sense of direction, a confusing caste system of favorite employees du jour, and a maniacal disposition. There aren?t enough words to describe the utter mayhem that takes place daily inside that office. The company recklessly hemorrhages money and is truly a ticking timebomb. But, still, I know you?ll think ?I?ll be able to help! I can change things.? You can?t. You won?t. You will regret this. My advice to anyone reading this is, simply, run. Save yourself. Because, if you choose to move forward with this company it is only a matter of time before you will regret it. If you need one last warning, it is widely joked about among employees that the positive Glassdoor reviews are just as fake as our Sephora ones (Google it).
