Get out For people who have a sense of self or a soul left: get out. For clients: this is not the Beacon of 4 or 5 years ago, the quality of work (as many of you know) is worse than it used to be. For women, and people of color who work there: get out, you are kidding yourself if you think things will get better. Expectations around traveling are unhealthy -- they will expect you to be at work the next day at 8 AM even if your flight came in at 2 AM the night before). If you think of this as a learning experience - stay for a year or two, your learnings will be sufficient. HR, Ops, will tell you to write nice reviews on Glassdoor. Similarly, senior leadership will inform you they will not write you a recommendation for grad school if you write a truthful/negative review on Glassdoor. There is no mentorship - you cannot discuss future career options with anyone. All male board members, all-male leadership, all-male key decision-makers -- and yes all white. The CEO will often cite he has hired a woman or two who have had high enough titles - these hires have not lasted and they are sidelined from any high-level decision-making. There is a pay gap, and Cliff will threaten to fire you if you discuss your salary with anyone. Toxic company with toxic senior leadership. Fortunately, they are mismanaging their accounts and staff to such a profound degree that there is a solid chance the firm does not survive the year. So, to employees and clients: have a contingency plan... this ship's captain does not know how to sail in tough times or as Cliff says "how to race in light air".
