Not recommended Upper management that insists upon absolute control over everything while also being opaque and inconsistent, and constantly changing their mind. Any communication from them is tone-deaf and unclear, and it's often nonexistent. This type of management not feasible for the size of the company, and is difficult and generally awful to work for. Focus is 100% on quantity of books over quality. As a result, workloads are ridiculous, and no one is proud of the work they are doing. Employees are viewed as interchangeable expendable commodities (unless you get in with the upper management clique). Poor organization and extremely minimal infrastructure to support editors and books being published. Dingy office in a terrible part of town.
