Too much work with too little growth opportunities You will get buried in too much work and will end up working 10+ hours each day at minimum. People end up working over the weekend to catchup with the extra workload. The amount of added responsibility or overloaded work doesn't transform into growth and bonus. Yes it does sometimes reflect in ?Shout-outs? in company meetings, thats all. Very few people who are close to the management get rewarded for hard-work, others are forced to do without any added benefits. Nothing is managed in professional way and it does feel like the managers just creating task and throw around it to people and pressurize them to commit to a deadline. There is no formal training to experienced hires and ofter its just jumping to the work right away on 1st day itself. No Career growth. Have seen people literally stuck with what they are doing for 10+ years without any growth. Whoever looks capable does leave to join Google or better opportunities and other people are stuck with this company. Now the company is looking heavily into outsourcing work to other software firms outside USA. This may eventually lead to layoffs of employees. Outsourcing already resulted in closing of QA dept. Outsourcing companies provide very poor quality work, but managers ignores that for economical reasons and also they get stressed out managing poor outsourcing companies. Management is often not cared about the humongous amount of extra load on employees to manage the work outsourced.
