Most toxic work environment of my entire career Combative, distrustful relationship between the executive team and the membership they're supposed to serve creates toxic relationship between mid-level leadership and members they work with. Executive Director is a coward who talks big in internal meetings, sends team members out to do his bidding, and then caves immediately and throws his team under the bus when confronted in person by members. VP of Finance runs the entire organization from behind the scenes, with no accountability to the Board of Directors or the membership. Revolving door at the VP and Director level senior staff just disappear constantly. Some walk away, some are fired for trivial reasons.
