Going down.. Cuebiq was once the place to be. People constantly asked how it was possible to work for such a great company. However, Cuebiq has slowly become a really shady place to be and it's pretty sad. -There is no actual training that is "useful" for new managers or current managers with direct reports. Anyone can read a powerpoint presentation. How about proactively implementing those things mentioned? -The company promotes things like: opportunities for career growth, great culture, and an open door policy BUT be careful to speak up because you will be shot down if anyone on leadership does not agree with your idea. -Salaries do not even make sense here. Some people are being paid WAY above the market rate while others will unfortunately, continue to make below the market rate, all thanks to their new salary increase cap. - Culture is significantly declining. No more annual retreat, weekly happy hours are dwindling, and daily lunched catering was cut. The leadership team claims that these "perks" should not be seen as something to affect culture and people should just want to be here. BUT these are the same people, who constantly looked for ways to improve culture. -The head of HR came in and painted a great picture for the future of the company when Cuebiq had no team in place. Unfortunately, HR is solely focused on the well being of the company and not its employees. Do not even bother to reach out to HR if you have an issue or concern as it will certainly be overlooked especially if it is targeted towards an idea that they put in place. Most people wonder what some people on the HR team even do at the company. The most recent round of layoffs had to be the sloppiest job I've witnessed across all fronts. The rationale behind those that were laid off is beyond me. It ranged from newcomers to high performers and even people that have been with the company from the very beginning. As someone else mentioned, there is a lot of distrust for leadership and of course, HR.
