Terrible Managament, Cutting Corners and Understaffing Where do I start? Management constantly had no idea what they were doing and because of this made mistakes. When these mistakes were found out, they would lie and blame others, specifically what was my department. At the time I was there, the company was very intent on becoming a $100 million company. In order to achieve this goal, they constantly cut corners and understaffed departments. This lead to a lot of mistakes and bad decisions because of added pressure and stress, and people were blamed and sometimes even bullied by certain managers. But no actual change ever happened, no matter how much we spoke up. I watched a lot of Temps come through who were exploited and thrown away without a care. The constant stress that was put on everyone lead to a lot of tattle tailing. If someone was actually doing something wrong and harmful, yes that should be called out. But I'm talking about every little thing you did was watched by other people and reported to your manager. You're given more work and more work, but almost no recognition. You might get the rare "So-and-so did X and that was great" at a morning meeting, but beyond that don't expect much of a raise or a promotion. The more you prove yourself, the more responsibilities you get.
