Biography
Peter Zieve is a graduate of MIT and the University of Washington who began and leads Electroimpact. He is a father, a business man, an engineer, and a civil servant, looking to be elected to the city council of Mukilteo, his current residence.
Peter Zieve is the CEO of Electroimpact based in Mukilteo. He is a major supporter of his community as a major contributor to his local YMCA and Boys and Girls Club, a Board Member and contributor to Camp Solomon Schechter, and is currently preparing to run for city council of Mukilteo. He has strong opinions and ideas aimed to enhance the quality of life for his fellow citizens of Mukilteo, and he will not rest until his ideas reach light.
Born in Milwaukee Wisconsin in 1954, Peter Zieve moved on to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to earn his BS-MS in Electrical Engineering, then his MS in Environmental Engineering. He then went on to earn a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. For a few years thereafter, Peter Zieve served as a research assistant professor at the University of Washington, inventing the Low Voltage Electromagnetic Riveter during his time at the University of Washington. From this invention, Electroimpact was born. This all happened before Peter Zieve turned forty years old. Electroimpact was a success and continues to grow. After basing himself in Mukilteo, Washington, Peter Zieve began to look around. He fell in love with the city, and saw its great potential to become a paradise for families and children. He began supporting local establishments, like the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club. Peter Sieve soon found that this was not the most concrete way to bring Mukilteo to the potential he saw, so he decided to pursue running for position #2 of the city council.
Peter Zieve wants to continue growing his company Electroimpact, to be someday run by his eldest son, also a graduate of MIT. In the meantime, Peter Zieve is pursuing his aspirations in local politics with determination. He has big ideas for major overhaul of Mukilteo's daily tax system, budgeting, and enhancement of community projects. He is incredibly excited to be chasing these ideas, and has the support of his family, his friends, his neighborhood, and hopes to win the support of the rest of Mukilteo.
