Clare Rose has risen to the top with help from The King of Beers. The company, a top beer wholesaler in the US, primarily markets Anheuser-Busch products, including Budweiser, Michelob, Bacardi, and Busch branded products. Clare Rose dominates distribution of the US beer maker's brands on New York's Long Island and Staten Island. The firm also carries other products, including those of Heineken, Redhook Ale and Widmer Brothers (both owned by Craft Brewers Alliance), Kona Brewing, China's Harbin, and Japan's Kirin. Founded in 1936 by Clare Rose, the company is still owned and operated by the Rose family.
