Center Parcs sees the forest "and" the trees, and plenty of them. The company operates four forested holiday villages, which attract vacationers by offering such amenities as villas, swimming holes, lakes, restaurants, shops, and spas. The leisure company's properties are in the UK, in Cumbria, Nottinghamshire, Suffolk, and Wiltshire. Each village sits on about 400 acres. All told, Center Parcs' holiday villages boast nearly 3,400 units in four categories ranging from standard villas to exclusive four-bedroom villas. The company, founded in 1968, is a subsidiary of private equity firm The Blackstone Group.
