No one can accuse Aardman of being chicken about a little animation. Aardman Animations is the studio that created the film Chicken Run (in partnership with DreamWorks) and the BBC animated series Wallace and Gromit. Other projects have include "Flushed Away," the studio's first CG film, another collaboration with DreamWorks, and "Crood Awakening", a prehistoric comedy co-written by actor John Cleese. The studio has received seven Oscar nominations, and has been awarded four. Aardman Animations was founded in 1972 by animators David Sproxton and Peter Lord. (The duo is also known for its work on the ground-breaking Peter Gabriel video "Sledgehammer".)
