Wright State University, named after aviation pioneers the Wright Brothers, has an enrollment of more than 16,000 students and offers more than 100 undergraduate degrees and nearly 50 graduate and professional degrees. It consists of eight colleges (including education and human services, business, engineering and computer science, liberal arts, nursing and health, and science and mathematics) and three schools (graduate studies, medicine, professional psychology). Along with its main campus in Dayton, Ohio, Wright State also offers classes at its Lake Campus in Celina, Ohio. Originally a branch campus of Ohio State University and Miami University, Wright State became an independent university in 1967
