SKID ROW HOUSING TRUST (the ?Trust?) is a nationally recognized nonprofit organization that owns and operates 26 affordable, permanent supportive housing properties. Nearly 2,000 people exiting homelessness call a Trust community their home. The Trust applies evidence-based solutions and our innovative buildings and supportive programs give our residents the opportunity to regain dignity, autonomy, and the opportunity to live in wellness. In the last year Skid Row Housing Trust has received several awards including the AIA California Council Design Award, SCANPH Supportive Housing Project of the Year, National AIA Institute Honor, AIA National Housing Award, AIA California Council Honor Award, AIA Sustainability Honor Award, AIA California Council Norma Sklarek Award, and Mike Alvidrez receiving the 2017 AIA LA Presidential Honoree Design Advocate award.
