ROTH Capital Partners is an investment banking firm with a focus on small-cap companies. Activities include trading, capital raising, IPO underwriting, research, and strategic advice. The firm has investment banking teams devoted to the business services, energy and industrial, consumer, financial services, gaming, health care, media, technology, and consumer sectors. ROTH has raised around $11 billion for small-cap firms and more than $3 billion through private investment in public entity (PIPE) transactions. It operates three offices on the West Coast and two in the eastern US, as well as a representative office in China (opened in 2007). The employee-owned firm was founded in 1984.
